Bitty Baby

Little one has loved her dolly and baby since she was a little baby. Now that the toddler years are upon us she is a very responsible mommy to her babies. She put them in their little bed, feeds them, gives them their milk, tries to change their diapers and reads to them. Since she is finally old enough, I took her to the American Girl Doll store and she was in AWWW the entire time. She had doll overload. After what seemed like forever we went and ate upstairs with a doll they let you "borrow" for lunch since her bitty baby did not make the trip. The doll even had her own cup and saucer. Needless to say it was worth the 2 hours at the store/bistro!

Baby Gymnast

We recently tried out a toddler gymnastics class and she seemed to take a liking to it; so we signed up for mommy and me gymnastics this week. Her favorite things so far are the balance beam and bars. It is amazing how flexible the little ones are without even trying As for me, those days of great flexibility are long gone so this is fun for momma too.

A Reward

Since we are quickly approaching the joyous 2's, little one gets a sugar-free sucker in the afternoon if she has been a good girl for the day. She loves them!!!!!!!! She even got a bonus today...she got to see some turtles at the pond. She screamed pretty much as loud as she could TURTEL (this is how it sounds) and they did not seem to mind the loudness coming from her sweet little voice.

Toddler Tea

This was too cute! This place is a must for the little ones (Shining Wings) They have dress up stuff for girls and boys.

Change

Since little one has learned to hike up the little legs over the top of the crib we decided we would try converting her crib to a toddler bed. She had never jumped out of her crib but those legs were sure trying! She has done pretty well so far...we are only on day 2. We watch her on the monitor climb out of bed and go get a book or just stand there. I am pretty sure she is thinking now what!?! She does go to the door, opens it and calls out "MOM." It is pretty darn sweet. All big items are strapped to the wall and things those little hands like to get to have been stowed away. Hoping this goes well...
