We decided to make some homemade Christmas ornaments with the ol flour, salt, oil and water recipe. It was actually pretty fun. She liked cutting out all the shapes and painting them as well. Of course the dough had to be tasted and it was SUPER salty. Needless to say she made some cute gaggy faces.
Yesterday we went to the Sealife aquarium again with her little friend Miss G!
They have a turtle there they just got that was a rescue. Apparently it is pretty common for sea turtles to get their shells damaged. Once they are damaged they lose their buoyancy so they have to be weighted down so they can maintain their life in the water. But they can not be released back into the wild. You can see her weight is plastered on her back.
Somehow we got to almost 2 year olds to face the camera at the same time.
**** I asked C what she wanted to title the blog entry today and her response was Alphabet.
