Arboretum

We went back to the arboretum with our dear Canadian friends again.  The kiddos and mamas just love it! It is crazy to look back at the pictures from last year to see how much the kiddos have grown.  I tried to get some pictures of little lady but of course, zero cooperation.  So I just went with enjoying the moments instead of trying to capture them.  Plus it was so humid therefore totally frizzy hair.

Polka Dot opened up after a week and we set her free.  She ended up sitting on a rose bush for almost 2 hours and then ventured on.

Lately...

Little one is not fond of having her picture taken but every once in awhile she asks for you to take her picture.  So I jump on it; this moment was at CVS with the M&M statue  Whatever works, right?

Happy Mother's Day

Yesterday daddy and I spent 10 LONG, LONG hours getting our CHL's so little one spent the day with gammy, grandpa, Uncle S and her cousin C.  She was zonked out by the time we got back to their house.  Her day was filled with fishing, water, eating, movie time and good ol fashion fun!!!

Spent some time at the local butterfly festival and even got to take a cocoon home to watch how the butterfly comes to be.  She named her polka dot.

Little one drew this is my mothers day card.  It is a whale in water.  How cute is that!?! Also included is a picture of her and I, and daddy snail (not pictured)  She is into snails right now. 

She said this is her family and a snail.  So daddy snail looks like this snail in the illustration above.  I like how daddy looks in this picture.  Nice hair dad!

Party time

We hit up another art festival this weekend and enjoyed the fresh air!

Her friends cooking class birthday party.  They made pizza and decorated cupcakes.  Can you guess which part was her favorite!?!

Cousin C came over this weekend and we attempted a sleep over.  We finally got them all to the bedroom around 11:45pm and they tried an tried to sleep.  Come 1:00am, it was unsuccessful so cuz went home with uncle S.  Sleep was no where in their immediate future.  It was super cute to listen to them giggle, sneak outside the room and slip things under the game room door. 

We gave Legoland, D-town a shot, despite her being on the young side she still had a blast.

Payback?

I guess this is called payback from when I ate my mothers contacts and painted my parents walls in makeup and nail polish. Or it is the start of it anyways.  She also painted her closet door with a lovely accent of lime green nail polish! Impressive right, to top it off it was done in less than 5 minutes while I went downstairs to grab something.  If you notice there is no blue in her artwork and the top is off.  So she either figured out that she should not be doing this or option 2...I will eventually find what she painted blue.

Meanwhile, she ran downstairs and insisted on NOT playing in the game room (that is upstairs near the crime scene) which she never denies.  I presume to not go back to the scene of the crime! Good call my mischievous little one! =)

Yee Haw

Little one is recovering nicely from her surgery; just a little angry.  Which the doctor confirmed was normal.  Thank goodness! We had the chance to go check out the Southlake Art Festival and meet Clifford along the way.   She kept asking if he was sad.  He does look pretty sad...
